How do I get better faster with Chiropractic care?

woman-walkingAfter 23 years practicing Chiropractic, I am very confident that the care will help most people that I see in practice. However, what are things you can do to speed up your recovery with Chiropractic care?

Firstly, make sure you keep mobile everyday. Your spine will be less rigid and therefore move easier, with our care, when you do activities such as walking, biking or swimming etc. If you have an office job and sit all day, your spine will respond slower to Chiropractic care and you may not receive the desired results you are looking for.

Most patients feel worse in the morning and feel better later in the day. As the day progresses, you usually move more, vs during sleep, and the body and spine will be less tight! Again, this is because when the body moves, your spine will free up as well.

Lastly, if pain is intense, use ice on and off during the day to reduce the inflammation!

Most importantly, make sure you follow your Chiropractic recommendations in order to correct your spinal imbalances

In summary, move more, use ice if needed, and follow your Chiropractic recommendations which will ensure you benefit the most from Chiropractic care.
